LIFEline Emergency FundWith your gift you provide emergency assistance to low-income members of Living Independently For Elders (LIFE). The LIFE program has been providing community-based, all-inclusive healthcare services to elderly West Philadelphians since 1998. Needs-based emergency grants are awarded to the programs most vulnerable, frail, and impoverished members to help keep them living safe in their community, with the goal of preventing or delaying unnecessary institutionalization. Grants help pay for goods and services such as fuel in the winter, home and system repairs, and necessary appliances or equipment and servicing not covered under warranty.
